Mr David Bradbury commenced his role as Deputy Chair of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) on 1 September 2026. He has been appointed for a five-year term and will oversee APRA's work in superannuation.
Mr Bradbury’s appointment completes APRA’s new executive board, following the Treasurer’s announcement in July 2026, appointing him and Ms Therese McCarthy Hockey as Deputy Chairs.
Ms McCarthy Hockey will continue to oversee APRA’s work in banking, while APRA Member Ms Suzanne Smith will continue to oversee general, life and private health insurance.
