Following Mr Tomas Kunzmann's appointment to the Allianz SE Board of Management, Allianz Group has announced Mr Philipp Kroetz as the new CEO of Allianz Partners.
Mr Kroetz is currently CEO of Allianz Direct, which he has led since 2022. He joined Allianz Group in 2011 and has served in a variety of leadership roles, including as Regional CEO for the German-speaking countries, Chief Transformation Officer and a Member of the Board of Management.
Mr Laurent Floquet, presently COO of Allianz Partners, will succeed Mr Kroetz as CEO of Allianz Direct, bringing deep expertise in mobility and service-led customer solutions to his new role. A successor for Mr Floquet will be announced in due course.
Mr Floquet has been COO of Allianz Partners since January 2025. Prior to that, he was a member of the Board of Management responsible for the assistance business. Mr Floquet joined the Allianz Group in 2014, and has served in leadership roles including Chief Sales Officer for the assistance Business of Allianz Partners, and Regional CEO for the DACH- and Eastern European markets
All appointments are effective 1 November 2026 and subject to regulatory approval.
