Generali organisational shuffle approved by Board of Directors in final phase of strategic plan

| 22 Oct 2026

Generali's Board of Directors has approved the evolution of the Group's organisational setup, as proposed by the Group CEO, Mr Philippe Donnet, to underpin the final phase of the 'Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence' strategic plan and looking ahead to the next 2028 to 2030 strategic cycle.

It also has the aim to make the Group’s coordination and integration leaner and more effective between head office functions and geographical markets, to further enhance the insurer’s performance by drawing on internal competences and talent.

Effective 1 January 2027, the insurance geographical markets will be reorganised into five areas, with one such being the Asia Region, which will continue to be headed by Mr Roberto Leonardi.

In addition, Redion Group, headed by Mr Antoine Parisi, as the global platform integrating assistance and employee Benefits, will accelerate the convergence of service capabilities and insurance expertise to deliver more distinctive and relevant solutions for clients. Mr Parisi will also join the Group Management Committee on 1 January 2027.

Banca Generali will also continue be headed by Mr Gian Maria Mossa.
