Hong Kong Life launches insurance brokerage distribution channel

Hong Kong Life Insurance has officially launched its insurance brokerage distribution channel as part of efforts to expand its distribution network and strengthen its business development strategy. The launch was announced on 4 November during a ceremony attended by management from Yuexiu Group and Hong Kong Life, representatives of insurance brokerage firms and industry partners.

The insurer said the new channel would complement its established bancassurance business and enable it to reach more customers with life protection and wealth management solutions. The move comes as Hong Kong Life marks its 25th anniversary and its first year as a member of Yuexiu Group in 2026. The company said it was drawing on its established presence in Hong Kong and the group's resources to support its expansion.

Hong Kong Life Chief Executive Raymond Chang said the launch marked an important milestone in the company's business expansion and distribution network development. He added that the insurer aimed to build partnerships based on mutual trust and shared success while improving product competitiveness, operational efficiency and service quality. The company also highlighted the role of brokerage partners in identifying customer needs and providing solutions for wealth growth, wealth transfer, protection and retirement planning.

Hong Kong Life said it would continue to enhance its products and services, introduce new offerings and advance digitalisation, while strengthening product training, sales support and brand promotion for brokerage partners. It also plans to explore business development and cross-sector collaboration opportunities by leveraging its position as a Hong Kong-based insurer with connections to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
