Singapore:Insurer launches cashless service for pet surgeries

| 05 Nov 2025

Income Insurance in partnership with Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital has launched a first of its kind cashless value-added service for pet surgeries.

In a press release, the company said that the service will be applicable to all Income Happy Tails pet insurance policyholders and covers pre-approved and scheduled pet surgeries, up to the coverage limit.

The service covers procedures that require general anaesthesia and a letter of guarantee will be issued so that no cash deposit is required before treatment. Co-insurance and deductibles will still apply based on each customer’s policy terms.

This is the first time an insurer and veterinary hospital in Singapore have implemented a direct claims and cashless payment system for animal healthcare.
