QBE Insurance Group has announced that Ms Yasmin Allen has been selected to succeed Mr Mike Wilkins, as Chair of the Group Board. She will commence her new role on 8 May 2026.
Mr Wilkins has announced his intention to retire from the board in May 2026.
Ms Allen joined the QBE Group Board in July 2022 as an Independent Non-Executive Director, bringing deep commercial and strategic experience as a company director and Chair across a wide range of sectors including insurance, energy, healthcare and technology.
Ms Allen is currently a Non-Executive Director of Santos, and Chair of the Digital Skills Organisation. She has also held various director and chair roles at regulated entities including Insurance Australia Group and Macquarie Global Infrastructure Funds, among others.
