Liberty, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Mr Jimmy Tong as CEO Singapore, effective 27 April 2026 and subject to regulatory approval.
In his new role, Mr Tong will lead Liberty’s unified Singapore business.
Mr Tong is well known to Singapore’s insurance and business community, and is a seasoned executive, spending the past 10 years leading and overseeing Great Eastern’s General and Group Insurance for Singapore and the prior 15 years in leadership roles at UOB.
Following Liberty’s Singapore company unification, former Chief Executive of Liberty Insurance, Mr Yasar Fistikci, has taken the new role of Chief Product Officer for Singapore.
Ms Nicole Lim, the current CEO of Liberty Specialty Markets, has elected to explore opportunities outside Liberty and will depart the business at the end of April.
