Munich Re has announced that its cyber businesses in APAC and Africa will be led by a newly appointed management team.
In her new role, effective 1 July 2026, Ms Johanna Roman will lead the business in Australasia, Greater China and Africa.
Ms Roman brings over 20 years of experience in the reinsurance market, with roles spanning across reinsurance purchasing, claims and underwriting. She joined Munich Re in 2022 as Casualty and Cyber Underwriting Manager, Australasia.
Mr Marco Petrovic will be heading Cyber Asia (ex Greater China) in his new role.
Since joining Munich Re in 2005, Mr Petrovic has held a range of roles across Casualty and Cyber Underwriting, including Business Development.
