Keyless cars make car-thefts easy

Car insurers in Britain paid out a record-breaking £1 million a day in 2018 after a surge in vehicle thefts, including keyless car crime. According to a report published on, the cost of pay-outs for thefts of and from vehicles topped £376 million - a 29% increase on 2017 figures.
