The priority in Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak, has shifted from keeping supply chains intact to ensuring worker safety, resulting in a substantial fall in worker productivity throughout the province and extending well beyond those infected with the virus, says Ms Katrina Ell, Senior APAC economist at Moody's Analytics.
