The odds of a pandemic caused by Covid-19 have been raised to 40% (for a r downside risk scenario), from a previous 20%, according to the latest commentary on the potential economic impact of the Wuhan coronavirus by Mr Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics.
