California businesses file class action against insurer

San Francisco-based children's clothing boutique Mudpie has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of California-based retail stores against Travelers Casualty Insurance Company of America, stating that small businesses were wrongfully denied coverage for losses resulting from government-mandated COVID-19 related shutdowns despite holding business interruption (BI) policies.
