India:Regulator calls on insurers to sell standardised COVID-19 insurance policies


The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has directed all general and health insurers to offer a standard coronavirus insurance policy by 30 June. While the final details of the proposed policy are still in development, the regulator has come up with draft guidelines according to a report from The Economic Times which has reviewed a copy of the draft.
