Kenya:Insurer racks up almost $1m in COVID-19 claims

As of 31 July 2020, Minet Kenya has paid about KSH100m ($930,000) in COVID-19-related claims stemming mainly from the screening of the virus, with the insurer paying for 7,000 tests and hospitalisation for about 100 COVID-19 patients.
