Australia:Business interruption court case to be heard next month


As complaints regarding business interruption (BI) claims continue to appear amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a test case launched by the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) to examine the application of certain infectious diseases exclusions in BI policies will be heard by the New South Wales (NSW) Court of Appeal. The hearing is due to start on 2 October.
