India:LIC outlines impact of COVID-19 on its operations

The number of active individual agents (which means those who sold at least one policy in the prior 12 months) with Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) plummeted by 17.48% from 1,086,000 in the six months from 31 March 2021 to 896,208 as of 30 September 2021, the state-owned life insurer says.
