Saudi Arabia:One insurance merger succeeds; another merger bid fails

Saudi Arabian insurer AlAhli Takaful Company has announced that its proposed merger with Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Company is effective after no objections were raised by creditors by the set deadline.
