Non-motor non-life insurance business has been growing rapidly in recent years, and at one juncture in the first half of this year, surpassed auto insurance for the first time in history, accounting for more than half of the premium income of property insurance companies, said China Property and Casualty Reinsurance (China Re P&C) at a conference last month.
