The sustainability of the underwriting profit of China United Property Insurance (CUPI) will be tested on rising competition in the motor insurance segment and the insurer's expansion in non-motor businesses, including agriculture insurance, which may expose it to significant natural catastrophe losses, says Fitch Ratings.
