Australia:1st annual tranche of US$270m investments in resilience projects kicks off on 1 July

The federal government's new Disaster Ready Fund (DRF) is starting the first round of projects in a five-year plan to ensure that Australia is much better prepared as a country for disasters well into the future, Emergency Management Minister Murray Watt said last week.
