The General Insurance Association of Japan (GIAJ) has decided to build a paperless system for investigations and settlements between insurance companies for Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance (CALI) claim adjustment in traffic accidents and bodily injury cases, said Mr Giichi Shirakawa, the association's chairman.
