EV automaker plans to inject additional capital into P&C insurance unit

Electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Auto Industry Co plans to increase the registered capital of its P&C insurance subsidiary by CNY3bn ($420m), according to an announcement by the company which was posted on the website of the Insurance Association of China.
