Prudential's regional CEO John Cai has announced his resignation from the company, effective 31 October 2025, citing personal reasons.
Following Mr Cai’s departure, regional CEO Naveen Tahilyani’s remit will expand to include oversight of the Southeast Asian markets of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, in addition to India and Africa. He will also assume functional leadership for agency and health.
These leadership changes build on Mr Tahilyani’s extensive experience in insurance and global companies.
Additionally, regional CEO for Singapore, Thailand, and partnership distribution Dennis Tan will take on additional responsibility for Vietnam and the Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar cluster.
