Willis, a WTW business, has appointed Mr Vijay Nair as head of tax insurance for APAC. This newly created role is in Willis' M&A business within the financial, professional and executive risks specialty business.
In his new role, Mr Nair will lead the growth of Willis’ tax insurance business across APAC, drive the execution of its M&A tax strategy and focus on developing relationships with M&A and tax stakeholders, including lawyers, investment banks, accounting firms, tax advisors, investment funds, private equity firms and corporate clients.
Mr Nair brings extensive experience in tax insurance and transactional risk solutions throughout Asia. Most recently, he led the tax insurance solutions practice for a leading multinational broker in Asia, advising clients on mitigating risks in M&A, restructuring and other complex transactions through tax liability insurance.
