The government has issued Decree No. 374, which sets out provisions for the management and operation of the Unemployment Insurance Fund under the Employment Law.
Under the decree, the Ministry of Interior will be responsible for issuing regulations on service fees for public services funded by the Unemployment Insurance Fund before 1 July.
The ministry is also tasked with issuing guidance on unemployment insurance, overseeing and inspecting its implementation, and enforcing compliance with relevant regulations.
In addition, the Ministry of Interior will work with other ministries and agencies to review and propose amendments to unemployment insurance policies and legislation where necessary. It will also oversee the implementation of unemployment insurance nationwide and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent administration of the scheme across central and local levels.
