McLarens, a loss adjusting firm, has announced the promotion of Mr Lam Choy Heng to the role of Managing Director of McLarens Malaysia.
In his new role, Mr Lam assumes responsibility for leading McLarens’ operations in Malaysia, overseeing business strategy, client engagement, operational performance and the continued development of the firm’s local team.
Since joining McLarens in 2023, Mr Lam has played a key role in strengthening the company’s presence in Malaysia, expanding client relationships, enhancing technical capabilities and supporting the continued growth of the business.
As part of the leadership transition, Mr Choong Hon Mun will continue with McLarens as Business Advisor, providing strategic guidance and support to the leadership team.
Widely respected throughout the Malaysian insurance industry, Mr Choong brings nearly five decades of experience in loss adjusting and insurance claims management. In his advisory role, he will continue to support key client and market relationships while providing strategic counsel to help drive the ongoing success of the Malaysian business.
