Canada Life Re has announced the formation of its new regional office in Singapore, and appointed Mr Wil Chong as CEO to lead the entity.
According to a LinkedIn post, Mr Chong joined Canada Life Re in 2022 as Executive Advisor, APAC, and played a key role in supporting the company’s growth in the region.
He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across the US, Europe, and APAC markets. Before joining Canada Life Re, Mr Chong worked with several large companies, including Allianz Re, Pacific Life Re, Swiss Re and Samsung Life Insurance. He started his career in 1991.
