AIA Life Korea has nominated Mr Leo Ng, presently CFO of AIA China, as its next CEO.
According to news platform The Korea Herald, the nomination comes after former CEO Mr Nathan Chuang stepped down from his post in August, despite serving a term that was supposed to run to July 2028. AIA Life Korea’s CFO, Ms Helena Chon, has assumed the CEO role on an interim basis.
Mr Ng’s LinkedIn profile shows that began his career in 2005 as a Corporate Actuary in Manulife Financial. He joined AIA in 2014, and has been with AIA China since 2016. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
