Despite the current low investment environment, insurers in Australia still need to pay their shareholders satisfactory returns, given that the Australian market has been inherently volatile. Right now those returns must, more than ever, come from the underwriting side of the business, says Mr Grant Robson, President & CEO (Asia Pacific) of Berkley Re Australia, as he gives his take on key issues in the non-life market and talks about his company’s top priorities in the domestic market and the rest of Asia Pacific.
