Ms Farzana Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Company, was honoured at the UN Global Compact Leaders' Summit 2016 held in New York in June as one of 10 Local Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Pioneers for her efforts in promoting gender equality in Bangladesh. In an exclusive interview with Asia Insurance Review, she speaks about the award and how it would act as an impetus for her to continue with her campaign for women's empowerment in Bangladesh.
