Initial mandatory payouts in the crash of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH17 last Thursday are expected to be around US$50 million in respect of the ill-fated jet's passengers, according to estimates from experts. The hull claim for the 17-year-old Boeing 777 would be around US$100 million.
