Taiwan:Farm insurance to be widened after record winter loss

Taiwan's Council of Agriculture (COA) is working to extend the scope of crop and aquaculture insurance policies for vulnerable products, to include mango, rice and grouper, after the island's agriculture and aquaculture sectors suffered losses of NT$3.3 billion (US$98 million) during a cold front last December.
