Asia:Economic loss from Kyushu quakes estimated at > US$10 bln

Total economic losses from two major earthquakes that struck Kyushu in Japan between 14 and 16 April, are expected to exceed JPY1.12 trillion (US$10 billion), according to the latest edition of the Global Catastrophe Recap report by Impact Forecasting, Aon Benfield's catastrophe model development team.
