| 09 Jul 2018

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and Asia Insurance Review have announced the finalists of the 2018 Australian Insurance Industry Awards.

Marking their 15th year in 2018, the Awards are an annual celebration acknowledging the accomplishments of individuals and businesses in the Australian insurance industry.

“Being announced as a finalist of the Australian Insurance Industry Awards is a true achievement, particularly as the quality of submissions we receive increases each year,” said Ms Prue Willsford, CEO of ANZIIF. “The esteem which the industry places on the Awards is evident, demonstrated by the number of attendees on the night who come to celebrate the positive impact that our industry has on the community.”

Mr Sivam Subramaniam, Editor-in-Chief of Asia Insurance Review, said, “The quality of the entries this year vouches for the degree of competition in the market and the determination of the candidates to give back to the industry and to society. Each year, I never fail to be amazed by how innovative the Australian insurance industry is in embracing digital to better serve their staff and the public. The entries are positive indicators of a great future for insurance.”

As a result of the growing popularity of the Awards night, the 2018 Awards has moved venue to accommodate a larger audience and will be held at Luna Park in Milsons Point, Sydney.
