The China Risk Oriented Solvency System (C-ROSS) framework is developed to further enhance the solvency supervision and to "build the top-level regime design", according to the CIRC. This will ultimately lead to the establishment of a robust second generation of solvency supervision system in China. The framework will enter test phase in 2015 and is expected to come into effect in 2016.
