Asia's insurance industry is expected to sustain robust growth in 2016/17, with Emerging Asia taking the lead with an average growth rate of about 13%. The outlook for China's insurance market remains "favourable", while Hong Kong is expected to enter into a "cyclical downturn", said Mr Clarence Wong, Chief Economist Asia-Pacific, Swiss Re.
