Clemens Jungsthöfel becomes new CFO of HDI Global SE

The Supervisory Board of HDI Global SE has appointed Mr Clemens Jungsthöfel as a Member of the Management Board of the company with effect from 1 May 2018. He will take over the functions of CFO on 1 July. He will succeed Mr Ulrich Wollschläger, who will step down at the end of June and begin his retirement.

Mr Jungsthöfel comes from the audit and consulting firm KPMG where as a partner he is currently responsible for providing auditing and consulting services to insurance companies. He is an auditor, tax consultant and a qualified insurance practitioner. He contributes many years of comprehensive experience from looking after property and personal insurers. The focus of his previous activities has been on working with international insurance groups including industrial, specialist and reinsurance companies. He also did a stint of two years at KPMG in London.

In his new position as CFO, he will be responsible for controlling, investments, risk management, corporate development and passive reinsurance.
