European storm Eberhard expected to cost insurers over $1.16bn


AIR Worldwide, a catastrophe risk modeling firm, estimates European winter storm Eberhard to have caused between EUR900m ($1.16bn) and EUR1.5bn of insured losses due to wind. A majority of these losses are expected to be in Germany.
