Australia:Sea level rises to cost at least US$200 bln by 2100

More than A$226 billion (in 2008 dollars; equivalent to around US$203 billion) in commercial, industrial, road and rail, and residential assets are potentially exposed to flooding and erosion hazards at a sea level rise of 1.1 metre in a high-end scenario for 2100, sketched by the independent Climate Council.
