Insurers are expecting few claims to arise from the series of earthquakes off Queensland.
The coast of Queensland was hit by eight earthquakes in three days between last Thursday and Saturday. The magnitude-5.7 quake which struck last Saturday was more than 10 times the intensity of the magnitude-5.3 tremor which occurred last Thursday, according to Geoscience Australia.
