SCOR has appointed Ms Claire McDonald as CEO of SCOR Business Solutions (SBS), effective 1 September 2024. She will also serve as a member of the executive committee. In her new role, Ms McDonald will be responsible for affirming SBS's position as a technical specialty commercial insurer, focusing on building a balanced and resilient portfolio, in line with the targets set out in SCOR's three-year strategic plan.
Aon has appointed Mr Shailendra Sapra as CEO of reinsurance solutions in India. He is also a member of the APAC region's reinsurance executive committee, effective 1 June, 2024. In his new role, he will identify and develop growth opportunities for (re)insurers and presented by India's rapidly developing insurance market. This will involve aiming to close the country's insurance protection gaps and supporting the development of new and existing lines, through delivering additional capacity, and innovation in solutions and services.

Canopius has appointed Ms Lee Soon Keen as CEO of APAC and MENA, effective before the end of 2Q2024 and subject to regulatory approval.
