Taiwan:Central bank rebuts report on local insurers' likely impact on US monetary policy

Taiwan's central bank has described as exaggerated a newspaper article from the UK that if the Taiwan dollar rose sharply, the domestic life insurance industry would be forced to sell a large amount of US corporate bonds, which would have an impact on the US bond market and affect US monetary policy.
