Thailand's first full-scale, lifestyle-embedded subscription-styled microinsurance product named TipSnack is expected to be launched in early 2026.
Dhipya Insurance is collaborating with Singapore-based Hive, the insurance-as-a-service platform of Income Insurance, to launch the country’s first bite-sized insurance products. The company plans to start with personal accident cover and, over the next two years, to expand into home, health and travel insurance.
Hive, which already has operations in Singapore and Vietnam, is exploring partnerships in the Southeast Asian region, Japan and the Middle East. In Vietnam, Hive has partnered with housekeeping agency JupViec and insurer Post & Telecommunication Joint Stock Corporation to launch JupViet Care, a microinsurance solution targeted at domestic helpers who are often uninsured and struggle with a low variable income.
