The India Rendezvous, to be held in Mumbai, India, from the 19-21 January 2026 is a sold-out event, attracting a record number of around 1,100 participants from 49 countries, once again highlighting the growing significance and importance of the Indian market to the international insurance community.
The three-day annual event is jointly organised by Asia Insurance Review and GIC Re. The event has since 2025 been moved to the spacious J W Marriot Hotel in Mumbai and will once again provide a platform for both insurers and reinsurers, as well as the intermediaries, to come together to take stock of the state of the Indian insurance market and the world of reinsurance in India.

With this in mind, this year’s theme for the Rendezvous, “Bridging India Today, Insuring India Tomorrow – the India Evolution Roadmap,” has been chosen as a call to action for the insurance industry to think big, act boldly, and lead the way in transforming India into a secure, prosperous, and resilient nation.

The India Rendezvous has been growing from strength to strength every year. Starting with 250 delegates at the inaugural event in 2008, the Rendezvous is today a must-attend event for anyone interested in doing business in India, drawing a record-breaking number of delegates each successive year. The event this year is supported by IRDAI, IBAI, IFSCA, and GIFT City.
