The Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) last week officially inaugurated GRHA AAJI during a grand launching event coinciding with AAJI's 24th anniversary.
The GRHA AAJI building, with a floor area of approximately 4,204 sq m, is designed as a modern facility to support industry learning, collaboration, and innovation, while serving as the center for AAJI's strategic activities
GRHA AAJI affirms the industry's commitment to strengthening human resource development, governance, and industry collaboration as foundations for long-term sustainability, the association said in a statement.
The ceremony was attended by approximately 200 people, “reflecting a unified commitment to establishing Grha AAJI as a hub for collaboration and the national life insurance ecosystem”, said the AAJI.
Executive Head of Insurance, Guarantee, and Pension Fund, Ogi Prastomiyono, who officiated at the launch, said, "Industry transformation must be supported by human resources who are competent, possess integrity, and are adaptive to change. Strong regulation must go hand-in-hand with industry commitment to building human quality."
He added that as industry challenges become more complex, associations play an increasingly strategic role in driving collective quality improvement. He envisions Grha AAJI as a centre of excellence—a hub for learning, competency development, and stakeholder collaboration.
"We must collaborate and synergise to develop a healthy, sustainable insurance industry that cares about consumers and policyholders," he said.
