The Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI) has appointed Mr Pranav Kapadia as its Deputy Secretary General.
In his new role, Mr Kapadia will focus on strengthening IBAI’s mission of protecting broker interests while fostering a more transparent, efficient and consumer-centric insurance ecosystem. He will also play a role in deepening engagement with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India and other industry stakeholders.
Mr Kapadia brings over 17 years of multidisciplinary experience across the insurance sector, with hands-on expertise in managing finance, compliance and governance matters while working closely with insurance brokers. This integrated exposure equips him with a strong, practical understanding of industry challenges, enabling him to effectively represent the broking community in policy discussions.
“Mr Kapadia’s appointment reinforces IBAI’s commitment to strengthening the role of insurance brokers in India’s evolving financial services landscape,” said IBAI President Narendra Bharindwal.
