Insurance industry to tackle the 'human gain' in an AI-driven world as Dive In Festival marks its final chapter

| 13 May 2026

Dive In Festival, the insurance industry's leading global event for culture and talent, enters its 12th and final year in September 2026, bringing the global market together to tackle one of its most pressing challenges: how to harness the power of technology while strengthening the human skills that underpin trust, leadership and connection.

Taking place from 22 to 24 September, this year’s festival will be a landmark, unmissable moment, uniting organisations and individuals from across the global insurance community to celebrate over a decade of progress and help shape the future of culture, skills and talent across the industry.

Since launching in 2015, Dive In has grown from a London-based initiative into a truly global movement, engaging tens of thousands of participants across more than 50 countries. In 2026, the festival will once again span more than 30 countries worldwide and be delivered in over 60 languages.

This final year will act as both a celebration of the industry’s collective progress and a catalyst for what comes next, bringing the global community together in a festival format one last time to drive meaningful dialogue and action.

The festival continues to be supported by leading organisations from across the industry, including AIG, Antares, Aon, Arch, Asta, Aviva, AXA XL, Clyde & Co, Fidelis Insurance Group, Gallagher, Liberty Mutual, Lloyd’s, Markel, Marsh, Moody’s, RenaissanceRe and WTW. Supporter Partners confirmed for 2026 include Axis, Alliant, Everest, GP Strategies, KPMG, Lockton Re and RGA, reflecting a strong collective commitment to building a more inclusive and forward-looking industry.

This year’s theme, ‘The Human gAIn: Powering Culture & Connection’, puts a spotlight on the growing tension and opportunity between technological advancement and human capability. As AI and automation continue to reshape the workplace at pace, the festival will explore how organisations can retain what matters most: judgement, empathy, creativity and trust.

Gallagher Global Director, Inclusion & Diversity David Martin said: “Dive In has played a vital role in bringing the industry together to share ideas, challenge perspectives and drive progress. As AI reshapes the workplace, building trust, belonging and shared purpose has never been more important in creating a more inclusive future.”

CFC Chief Underwriting Officer and Chair of Dive In for 2026 Nick Line said: “Over the past 11 years, I’ve seen first-hand the role Dive In plays in opening up important conversations across our industry. At its heart, it’s about building an insurance market where anyone with the talent and ambition to succeed has a fair chance of doing so. As Chair, I’m incredibly proud to lead the festival into its final year, which we are aiming to be its most impactful yet.”

This year will also see Dive In to Reverse Mentoring return for its fifth cohort, bringing together professionals at every stage of their careers to exchange knowledge, challenge perspectives and help bridge generational and cultural divides across the industry.

Organisations are encouraged to get involved - with the last remaining sponsorship opportunities still open for 2026 - to avoid missing out on this landmark final event.

Registration for Dive In 2026 opens on Tuesday 14 July at www.diveinfestival.com.

As Dive In prepares for its final chapter, the global insurance community is invited to be part of this defining moment, coming together one last time to celebrate progress and help shape the future of the industry.
