Sun Life Philippines has paid out more than PHP5.25bn ($85.75m) in claims in 2025. The total amount covers claims paid across Sun Life's individual and group insurance businesses, as well as its bancassurance operations through Sun Life Grepa Financial.
According to a released statement, Sun Life also paid PHP3.17bn in policy maturities in the past year.
“Every claim we pay represents a promise fulfilled to a client or family who counted on us during an important moment in their lives,” said Sun Life Philippines Country Head and CEO JJ Moreno.
“It reflects our commitment to providing financial support when it matters most.”
From January to May 2026, Sun Life Philippines has paid out more than PHP2bn in claims, and also released PHP1.4bn in policy maturities.
