Willis, a WTW business, has appointed Mr Scott Kirkwood as Head of Natural Resources, Pacific. In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening the Pacific natural resources business by aligning closely with Willis' global expertise, leveraging insights and experience from around the world.
He will also build on the team’s strong global mining capability and deep specialist knowledge to drive growth in other natural resources sectors and expand the firm’s offering across the full value chain.
Mr Kirkwood brings deep natural resources experience to the role. Prior to his new role, he led Willis’ operations in Queensland as its General Manager, advising complex and asset intensive organisations in high-risk environments, with a particular focus on natural resources such as the mining sector.
