Australia:Investment losses hit profits of private health insurance market in the year to June 2022

Australia's private health insurance (PHI) industry has posted a 28.0% fall in net profit after tax for the year to June 2022, to A$1.1bn ($757m), compared to the year ended 30 June 2021, according to statistics released last week by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).
